Simply put, Akonomi is a networking site for small and medium sized businesses. It is based on helping businesses find what they want, when they want it. Where did Akonomi come from?
The idea for Akonomi came from realizing the limitations of networking for small and medium sized businesses. The experience of working for an SME lead to the realization that it isn’t always easy to find what you’re looking for when buying or selling. Often for businesses it isn’t viable to spend capital on resources, or man hours, to find the proper customers and suppliers for their business. This is where the idea for Akonomi came from. A place for businesses to find what they need, when they needed it, for free.
